Game Rules
Number of players: 3-9 players
1. Assuming there are 4 players, 4 types of animal cards are prepared,
with 4 cards for each animal, making a total of 16 cards for the game.
(If there are 5 players, 5 types of animal cards are chosen,
making a total of 20 cards).
2. In addition, each player needs to draw two bomb cards. After reading the bomb cards,
they need to put them in their pockets without holding them.
3. Initially, the 16 animal cards are shuffled and then dealt to the 4 players,
with each player receiving 4 cards. (Regardless of the number of players,
each player will have 4 cards).
4. At the beginning of the game, all players take out a card in their hand and place it on the table
with the card face down and pass it to the next player in a counter-clockwise direction.
The purpose is to have four identical animal cards in your hand as soon as possible.
5. During the game, players will keep passing the cards until one player
has 4 of the same animal cards. At this point, the player can perform
the corresponding action indicated on the card, such as covering their nose,
putting their hand on their jaw or resting their palms on the table.
6. When a player performs an action, the other players must immediately
stop passing the cards and perform the same action. The player who is
the slowest to perform the action loses that round and receives a "lip" token.
7. This continues until one player collects 9 "lip" tokens,
making them the final loser.
8. However, the game has an important mechanic.
When a player with a high number of "lip" tokens converses with a player
with a lower number of "lip" tokens, the player with the lower number will
immediately be upgraded to the level of the player with the higher number.
(For example, if a player with 5 "lip" tokens talks to a player with 3 "lip" tokens,
the player with 3 "lip" tokens will immediately be upgraded to 5 "lip" tokens.
In other words, players with a higher number of "lip" tokens will constantly
try to converse with players with a lower number, but the players with
the lower number should not respond to the players with the higher number.)
9. In other words, if all players have the same number of "lip" tokens,
they can freely converse without any restrictions.
10. There are also some bomb cards, and players need to complete the bomb
defusal task on the card . Each time a player completes a bomb defusal task,
they can discard that bomb card. If a player reaches 9 "lip" tokens
(i.e., the final loser has appeared), and they still have undefused bomb cards,
they will have to add additional "lip" tokens . 1 bomb represents 1 "lip" token.
(For example, if you currently have 7 "lip" tokens and you have 2 undefused bomb cards, you will
have to add 2 more "lip" tokens, making it 9 "lip" tokens, and you will also be the final loser.)
11. Under this game rule, it is possible that there may be more than one final loser with 9 "lip" tokens.
12. All losers must accept a big penalty, which will be decided by the other winning players! Haha!
Additional Notes:
(When multiple players collect 4 of the same animal
cards simultaneously)
If multiple players simultaneously collect 4 of the same
animal cards and need to perform the corresponding action,
the priority order on the cards will be followed.
(For example, if one player is covering their nose and
another is putting their hands on the table,
the player putting their hands on the table will have to
change to covering their nose.)
(Difficulty Reduction)
• Other ways to use bomb cards:
a) If you want to reduce the difficulty, you can not add
the bomb card mechanism at all.
b) Or after each round, the loser of the round needs to draw
a bomb card as a minor punishment in addition to getting
a lip level.
This replaces sending each person two bomb cards at
the beginning to reduce the difficulty.
• To further reduce the difficulty, all actions can be
simplified to just covering the nose.
• To reduce the difficulty, the score trackers can also
be left uncovered, making it easier for players to see
the "lip" token levels.
(Score Trackers)
The game includes four score trackers.
When a player receives a "lip" token, they can
use the score tracker to record their "lip" token level,
and then cover it during the game so that other players
cannot see it.
If there are more than four players,
score cards can be used to record the "lip" token
levels of all the players.
